William Piper Narrowboats ceased trading on 6th October with the departure of their founding creative genius Martin Baker.
This is a catastrophe.
The remaining Directors William Good and Rob Parsons are seasoned enough in closing down companies to keep their noses clean but the whole thing stinks. To have allowed a company with a full order book and multiple awards to go out of business is criminal. And it has left everyone - that is staff, customers and suppliers worse off, except the two financial Directors.
This is a sorry state of affairs. Shame on them.
